So here we are at the finals. I loved this game and I think I played it really hard and with a good amount of integrity. For those that have told me I played dirty, or was inactive or a coattail rider, I think you are insane, and it shows why you are out and I am here. I played my butt off in this game and never stopped strategizing.
Even after you guys just put me through the ringer, and even though I know a lot of you are angry at me right now, I think that during the game and for the most part we all had a lot of fun with each other. And that was the majority of the game, I tried to have fun, I tried being friends with most of you, but mostly I tried to play a smart game. I am really proud that I accomplished all that. I think that Tom and Cao Boi are two worthy competitors. We all worked together very well and I will be happy with whatever outcome.
**I am adding this part since the host made me post my final words even though others aren't done**
I know its a hard decision to make between 3 very different players. I have not trash talked Cao Boi or Tom W. at all this entire process, I will say I am a bit disappointed that my name has been thrown in the dirt a bit by my allies so I will break this down for you. Cao Boi played a very under the radar game and didn't cause a lot of stir, a lot of you didn't know who he was or talk to him much, he had a vote almost every Tribal Council, but didn't have any HUGE moments in the game - very admirable to get through to the finals with people trying to get you out at every turn, though I think its important to remember WHY he didn't get voted out ever. So that's Cao Boi, if you appreciate that laid back UTR approach he's your vote. Then there's Tom W. very cool, confident, cocky and apparently the master of Survivor. Tom dominated in challenges and apparently got every single one of you in the game to believe his story and believe you were his ally. Needless to say a very "backstabby" game. Tom enjoys saying that he was in control of this game the entire time and that he never got a vote and had the HII, etc. But I ask you this...if he was in control then how did I survive an overwhelming Durga outnumbering? How did I get the HII and use it with Cao Boi? Sure, Tom gave it to me, but why? He could have very easily sat in the F3 with Dave and Dolly (a pretty good equivalent to me and CB) but something about me made him want to work with him...what was it? It couldn't have been me persuading him, or having good strategy? It was. Tom chose to work with me, so I brought something to the table, I certainly wasn't a "Dolly" in his plans. So if you like the "Boston Rob" style of play than Tom W. is your vote, easily. Then there was my game play. I wasn't the most social, nor did I dominate in challenges...honestly I was probably somewhere between Cao Boi and Tom W. I talked to who I needed to and made only the deals I could live with. I led some people on but I never betrayed my core alliance of Tom W., Candice and Cao Boi. So if you want someone who kind of looked out for himself and kind of quietly did his own thing, then I'm your vote.
Let me be clear...ALL THREE STYLES, are wonderful choices, Cao and Tom W. played brilliant games, all 3 of us just played very differently, and when choosing who to vote for you should just consider which style you liked best, and what you would try in your next game. That's all.
Finally, to our host, this was an EXCELLENT game, well done and great challenges.
